Accessibility statement
Prepared: 29 September 2026
BodyPing is used by people on difficult days — in pain, tired, or logging for someone else. We want everyone to be able to use it, including people who rely on a keyboard, screen reader, zoom or other assistive technology.
Our commitment
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA across the BodyPing website and app. This statement applies to bodyping.com, including the public pages and the signed-in Pain & Symptom Log.
What we have done
- Keyboard access: buttons, links and form controls can be reached and used with a keyboard, and there is a “Skip to main content” link at the top of each page.
- Labels: form fields have visible or programmatic labels, and icon-only buttons have text labels for screen readers.
- Contrast: we check text and controls against WCAG contrast guidance and adjust colours that fall short.
- Reduced motion: the Pain Log forms respect your device’s reduced-motion setting.
- Dark mode: a dark theme is available from the toggle at the bottom of every page, and your choice is remembered.
- Zoom and small screens: pages reflow for mobile screens and browser zoom.
Known limitations
- Charts: some dashboard charts are visual and may not be fully available to screen reader users. Your formatted report presents your entries as text.
- Body map: choosing where it hurts uses a body map. You can select areas by tapping or activating the named buttons for each area, rather than by drawing or dragging.
We are working on these. If one of them stops you from using BodyPing, please tell us — we will help directly and prioritise a fix.
Report a problem
If you find something that is hard to use, or you need information in a different format, contact us through the contact form or email hello@bodyping.com. Tell us the page and what happened, and we will reply as soon as we can.
This statement was prepared on 29 September 2026, based on our own review of the site. We will review it as BodyPing changes.
