Built for daily life with chronic pain

Every field in the BodyPing pain log was chosen because it is information that actually matters — to you over time, and to whoever is treating you.

0–10 pain scale per body location

Log exactly where it hurts — multiple body areas in a single entry, each with its own score.

Activity & lifestyle triggers

Typing, lifting, sleeping position, cold, stress, exercise — log what preceded the pain and see which triggers appear most often.

Medication tracking

Log whether medication was taken and rate how effective it was — track the pattern over time.

Sleep quality & hydration

Log sleep quality alongside pain scores — the dashboard shows average pain by sleep quality so you can see the picture at a glance.

Calendar heatmap

See which days were worst at a glance — months of patterns visible in one view.

Formatted report

A clear summary of your entries — bring it to any appointment without printing or scrolling through notes.

Secure share link

PIN-protected, view-only, expires automatically. Share with anyone — no account needed to open it.

Relief method tracking

Log what helped — rest, ice, heat, stretching, medication — and rate how effective it was.

Draft auto-save

Entries save automatically as you go — never lose a half-finished log on a difficult day.

Built for people managing pain every day

Adults with chronic pain

Fibromyalgia, arthritis, nerve pain, repetitive strain — any condition that needs a consistent daily record.

Children & young people

BodyPing was first built for a 12-year-old. The form is simple enough to fill in independently, even on a difficult day.

Parents & carers

Log on behalf of someone who cannot fill it in themselves. Share records with the treating team from a single link.

Common questions about the pain tracker

What is a pain tracker app?
A pain tracker app is a tool that helps you record daily pain levels, locations, triggers, and medication in a structured way. Over time it builds a picture that can reveal patterns — what makes pain worse, what helps, and when it tends to be most severe.
How is BodyPing different from a pain diary notebook?
A notebook cannot show trigger frequency, display average pain by sleep quality, or generate a shareable record. BodyPing structures your entries so the dashboard shows what you could never calculate manually — like which day of the week has your highest average pain, or how your scores differ on nights of poor versus good sleep. You and your doctor look at the data together and draw conclusions.
Can I share my pain log with my doctor?
Yes. BodyPing generates a secure, PIN-protected share link. Your doctor does not need an account to view it. You choose when to share it and the link expires automatically.
Is BodyPing a medical device?
No. BodyPing is a personal record-keeping tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. All use is voluntary and at the user's own discretion.
Does it work for children?
Yes. BodyPing was originally designed for a 12-year-old. The form is straightforward enough for children and young people to fill in independently with parental support.
Is there a mobile app?
BodyPing works fully in any mobile browser as a PWA — open it in Safari or Chrome on your phone and add it to your home screen for one-tap access and push notifications. No app store needed.
