Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using BodyPing. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. About the service

BodyPing is a personal symptom-tracking tool that helps users record, organise, and review their own health entries — including daily pain levels, migraine episodes, triggers, and related observations. It is a logging and record-keeping tool, not a medical service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Users between 13 and 18 must have parental consent. Parents may create and manage accounts on behalf of children under 13.

3. Your account

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password.
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
• One account is intended for one person. Sharing accounts is not permitted.
• Notify us immediately at hello@bodyping.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. Subscriptions and payments

• All subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis.
• Prices are displayed in Euros (€) and are inclusive of applicable taxes.
• Payments are processed securely via PayPal.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
• You may cancel at any time. Access continues until the end of the paid period.
• Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods except where required by applicable consumer law.
• 14-day free trials are available for new subscribers. Payment details may be required to activate a trial but you will not be charged until the trial ends.

5. Your health data

• You own all health data you enter into BodyPing.
• We store your data to provide the service. We do not sell it, share it with third parties for commercial purposes, or use it for advertising.
• You may export or delete your data at any time from your account settings.
• Share links you generate are your responsibility. Sharing a link with a doctor or third party is your choice and is done at your own discretion.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to access other users' data
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy the service
• Upload malicious code or attempt to interfere with the service
• Misrepresent your identity or impersonate another person

7. Your responsibility as a user

You are solely responsible for:

• The accuracy and completeness of the information you enter into BodyPing.
• How you use your logged data, reports, or any information generated by the service.
• Any decision you make — including medical decisions — based on your BodyPing records.
• Ensuring that your use of BodyPing complies with any advice given to you by your healthcare provider.
• The security of any share links you generate. If you share a link with another person, you are responsible for that decision and its consequences.

BodyPing is a tool to help you record your own experience. It is not a substitute for professional medical care, and using it does not replace, delay, or modify the need for qualified medical attention.

8. No medical liability — important

By using BodyPing you confirm that you understand and accept the following:

• BodyPing is a personal logging tool, not a clinical or diagnostic system.
• The information you record in BodyPing is entered by you, for your own personal use.
• Any reports or data summaries generated by BodyPing are based solely on the information you have entered. Their accuracy depends entirely on what you record.
• BodyPing does not verify, review, or validate the accuracy of anything you enter.
• Sharing a BodyPing report with a healthcare professional is your own decision and is done at your own discretion. BodyPing is not responsible for how that information is used, interpreted, or acted upon by you or any third party.
• BodyPing is provided "as is" without any warranty of fitness for any particular purpose, including medical or clinical use.
• You use BodyPing voluntarily and entirely at your own risk.

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, stop using this app and call your local emergency services immediately. BodyPing is not an emergency service and cannot help in a medical emergency.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, BodyPing, its operators, developers, affiliates, and any associated parties shall not be liable for:

• Any health outcome, injury, illness, or medical consequence arising directly or indirectly from your use of the service.
• Any decision — medical or otherwise — made on the basis of data, reports, or information recorded in or generated by BodyPing.
• Loss or corruption of your data, whether due to technical failure, user error, or any other cause.
• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages of any kind.
• Service interruptions, downtime, or failure to deliver the service at any particular time.

Where liability cannot be excluded by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of BodyPing is limited to the total amount you paid for the service in the 12 months immediately preceding the date of the claim.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before significant changes take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
