Pain tracker app & chronic pain diary
Your body talks.
We keep the notes.
Log pain and symptoms in about 2 minutes. Spot triggers, sleep and relief patterns. Share a secure, view-only report with your doctor.
Three steps. Every day.
A daily habit that takes about 2 minutes — and builds a clear picture of your symptoms over time.
Log in about 2 minutes
Rate your pain, pick where it hurts, note triggers, relief and sleep. Simple enough to fill in on a difficult day.
See your patterns
Pain on days with and without each trigger, pain by sleep quality, time of day and weekday — your dashboard brings all your entries together in one view. Insights start once you have logged 3 days.
Share when you need to
Print a formatted report, save it as a PDF, or create a secure, view-only link — something clearer than trying to remember it all at an appointment. Your record, your choice when to share it.
Two modules. In final testing.
The Pain & Symptom Log opens first, followed by the Migraine Log. Join the waitlist and we'll email you the day each one opens.
Pain & Symptom Log
A daily pain diary that builds a clear picture of your chronic pain — where it is, what triggers it, what helps, and how it changes over time.
- 0–10 pain scale per body location — pinpoint exactly where it hurts
- 41 body areas with left/right sides — log several in one entry
- Symptom groups — areas that feel the same share one set of answers; areas that feel different get their own
- 9 pain types, whether it spreads, and when it hurts — at rest, during movement, during or after activity, morning, evening, or comes and goes — plus how long it lasts
- 13 trigger options — typing, lifting, exercise, sleeping position, stress, cold, heat and more
- Medication taken — yes / no / not sure. Plus a 0–10 rating for how well today's relief worked
- Other symptoms rated 0–10 — fatigue, numbness, tingling, weakness, stiffness, coordination
- Tremors tracked separately — severity, when, how often and how long each episode lasts
- Sleep quality & hydration tracking
- Insights from 3 days logged — triggers with vs without, pain by sleep quality, medication days, time of day & weekday
- Achievements and a streak counter with streak freezes — stay consistent without pressure
- Secure share link — view-only, optional PIN, expires after 7, 14 or 30 days; extend it, change the PIN or revoke it anytime
- Formatted report — print it, save it as a PDF, or share a view-only link
- Calendar heatmap — tap any day to see what you logged
- Edit or delete any entry
- Your draft is saved on this device — pick up a half-finished entry where you left off
- A safety note in the form lists warning signs that need urgent care, not a diary entry
Migraine Log
Designed specifically for migraine sufferers — record every episode from the first warning sign through to recovery, with a trigger library covering psychological, hormonal, environmental, dietary and physical triggers.
What the Migraine Log will include
- Episode start & end time — full duration automatically calculated
- Aura recording — visual, sensory, motor and speech types
- All four migraine phases — prodrome, aura, attack, postdrome
- Pain location — 29 head, neck and shoulder locations
- Associated symptoms — nausea, light sensitivity, sound sensitivity, vomiting
- Medication name, dose, timing & whether it helped
- Comprehensive trigger library — hormones, food groups, weather, sleep, environment, alcohol, caffeine and more
- Medication effectiveness breakdown — see how you rated each medication over time
- Monthly episode frequency — track how often attacks occur
- Secure share link — view-only, optional PIN, no account needed
- Formatted report — chronological episode summary
- Calendar heatmap — spot episode clusters across weeks and months
Both modules exist because someone needed them and nothing else was good enough. That is the only reason BodyPing grows — real conditions, real daily challenges, real gaps that are not being met.
If you are managing something that is hard to track and even harder to explain at an appointment, we want to hear about it. The next module will come from that conversation.
Is there a condition you track daily but struggle to describe clearly at a medical appointment? Tell us what it is and what information would actually be useful to bring to your doctor.
Tell us what you needBuilt for real life,
not just dashboards.
Daily reminders
A reminder at your chosen time — a notification on devices where you have turned them on, otherwise an email. Plus an optional Sunday summary email.
Calendar heatmap
See pain patterns at a glance across weeks and months. Tap any day to see what you logged.
Doctor share link
Short secure link — your doctor opens it, no account needed. Add a PIN, extend it, change the PIN or revoke it anytime, and send it by email or WhatsApp. Five wrong PIN tries lock it.
Streaks & achievements
Your streak grows every time you log, and achievements mark the milestones. A gentle nudge to keep the habit going — not a game.
Formatted report
A clear summary of your entries — print it, save it as a PDF, or share a view-only link. Easier than recalling everything from memory.
Draft saved as you go
Your draft is saved on this device — pick up a half-finished entry where you left off.
Symptom groups
Knees ache but hands tingle? Put them in separate groups — answer once per group.
Tremor tracking
Tremors get their own questions — severity, when they happen, how often and how long each episode lasts.
Edit or delete any entry
Logged the wrong thing? Change it or remove it. Your record stays yours to correct.
Family & carer access
Invite family or a carer to a linked, view-only account — they can follow along but cannot change anything.
Export everything
Download all your data as a ZIP of CSV files at any time — even after you cancel.
Safety note built in
The form lists warning signs that need urgent medical care, not a diary entry.

When pain comes and goes,
memory is not always enough
BodyPing started when Mema was 12 and had hand pain that was hard to track. The family tried WhatsApp messages, but they were inconsistent and hard to turn into something useful for the doctor. Mema sketched out the HTML page she wished existed — the kind of simple daily form that would actually capture what the doctor needed. Then she did the same for her mother's migraines. That was the moment a personal solution became something for everyone. Read the full story →
Pain that was hard to remember later
Every day the family tried tracking Mema's hand pain through WhatsApp messages. Inconsistent, easy to forget, and hard to turn into something useful for the doctor.
Questions, answered.
What is BodyPing?
BodyPing is a pain tracker app and chronic pain diary. You log pain and symptoms in about 2 minutes a day, and BodyPing turns your entries into simple patterns and a report you can share with your doctor through a secure, view-only link. A separate Migraine Log is in final testing and opens soon.
Who is BodyPing for?
People living with chronic pain, fibromyalgia, arthritis, nerve pain or other ongoing symptoms, and parents or carers who log for someone else. Accounts are for people aged 16 or over; under-16s use an account set up and managed by a parent or guardian.
Can I share my pain log with my doctor?
Yes. You can create a view-only link that expires after 7, 14 or 30 days and add an optional PIN. You can extend it, change the PIN or revoke it at any time, and send it by email or WhatsApp straight from the app. Five wrong PIN tries lock the link. Your doctor does not need an account.
Can a family member or carer follow along?
Yes. You can invite family members or carers to a linked, view-only account. They can see your entries but cannot change anything, and you can remove them at any time.
Is BodyPing free?
Joining the waitlist is free, and no card is needed. When we open, BodyPing will be a paid subscription with a 1-month free trial — or a 2-month one if you join the waitlist now. You'll confirm your email address before the trial starts, and a card is needed at checkout, but nothing is charged until the trial ends. After that, the Pain & Symptom Log will cost €6.99 a month or €55.99 a year. Cancel anytime. The Migraine Log is in final testing and opens soon.
Can I download my data?
Yes. You can download everything as a ZIP of CSV files at any time, including after you cancel. You can also edit or delete any entry yourself.
Does BodyPing have a mobile app?
BodyPing works in any modern mobile browser. Open it in Safari or Chrome and add it to your home screen for one-tap access. Where your device supports it, reminders arrive as push notifications; otherwise they come by email.
Is BodyPing a medical device?
No. BodyPing is a personal record-keeping tool. It calculates simple summaries from your own entries, but it does not diagnose, predict or recommend treatment.
